This study fits into the contemporary media landscape because of the ongoing stereotypes against Muslims in which have been represented in British dramas such as Britz and the films such as Four Lions, East is East and Bradford Riots. After the attacks of 9/11 and 7/7 the mainstream media have stereotyped all Muslims to be bombers. The production that I am going to create is going to challenge and these stereotypes.
